Middle Notes In First Position

The middle notes start on the lowest line of the treble clef staff and extend to the D on the second to top lone. These notes are used to play chordal parts and melodies. Remember to use the correct fingers in first position to play the middle notes.

Fret 1: Index, Fret 2: Middle, Fret 3: Ring, Fret 4/5: Pinky.
